Research Focus: The successful candidate will work in the intersection of computer vision and biological applications, such as plant image analysis, plant phenotyping, and medical imaging. The research will primarily explore innovative approaches to address challenges such as domain adaptation, continual learning, and self-supervision for computer vision approaches applied to biological data.
Requirements:
- A strong academic background in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in computer vision research, such as Python.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques, particularly in the context of computer vision.
- Prior experience or a keen interest in biological problems and their applications in computer vision.
